At Narenjestan Traditional House we have endeavoured to create an atmosphere which is homely, warm and inviting, where you can relax and unwind, in the company of others or in the solitude that you may be seeking.
The first branch of Narenjestan Traditional House is a cozy safe haven nested near the city’s most popular attractions. The house dates back to the Qajar era, 200 years ago, which was the home of furriers and was restored in 2015. This traditional house offers three small but comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated in a traditional Iranian style and opening into a charming courtyard flaunting a blue fountain pool, bitter orange trees, Talar (vaulted Iwan) and seating areas. A very special room-alcove- offers guests an ideal space to relax and enjoy the serenity or the opportunity to chat with fellow visitors. All furniture and decorations demonstrate rural and traditional lifestyle. Guests love this historic house for its peaceful environment, interior design and fantastic rooftop with the view of Yazd’s badgirs (wind towers). A cellar, vestibule, urns, traditional agricultural tools and many other precious Iranian handcrafts are dotted around the mansion, adding to the atmosphere and sense of authenticity. Local food can be provided upon request or you are welcome to prepare food in the fantastic kitchen facilities.
The second branch which called Golabatoon Traditional Lodge is located within a 5-minute walk of the first branch. As we received to many requests, we have committed our time and energies to restoring the 100-year-old home (dates back to the Pahlavi era) in 2020, to perfecting the art of hospitality. This traditional house offers 12 rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. In this house we have a variety of different rooms to suit different tastes and budgets. All rooms are fitted with comfortable beds and a modern cooling/heating system. This Traditional house has two yards, the big one and the small semi-private one, both featured by a beautiful blue fountain pool.
